Who We Are:
Sova Wines are produced by Sean Behrens, a
second generation winemaker who also helps
his family make Behrens Family Wines.
The complexity of wine involves more than 1.5
million wineries in the world. We believe there is
a story represented in every bottle, one that tells
about a place, time, the grapes, soils and people
involved.
We work hard, purchase good grapes from small
farmers and put blood, sweat and tears into
every bottle we make. We have no outside
cellar workers – it’s just us. My Dad, Step-Mom,
son Ethan and I do all the physical winemaking.
We coordinate grape harvests, and together we
crush, sort, ferment, press, age and bottle our
wine. This gives us a unique standing in today’s
often over-capitalized wine market.
